Rao Travels provides passenger transportation and travel services. We do not sell or ship physical goods, so no product is dispatched, couriered or delivered to an address. This page explains how our services are delivered instead, and is provided in place of a shipping policy.
1. What you are paying for
Every payment made to Rao Travels is for a service — a ride, a vehicle hire, or a tour package. There is no physical item associated with any booking.
2. How the service is delivered
- ✦App bookings — a driver and vehicle are assigned to you and arrive at the pickup point you selected. The service is delivered when the journey is completed.
- ✦Scheduled rides — the vehicle arrives at the pickup point at the time you booked.
- ✦Tours and packages — delivered over the dates agreed at the time of booking, per the itinerary confirmed with you.
3. Confirmation
Booking confirmation is immediate and appears in the Rao Travels app, along with the driver and vehicle details. A receipt is issued in the app once the trip is completed. Where a booking is made directly with our office, confirmation is sent by phone or WhatsApp.
4. Service area
We operate from Vellore, Tamil Nadu, serving local travel within Vellore and outstation journeys across Tamil Nadu and neighbouring states. Availability outside this area is confirmed at the time of booking.
5. If the service cannot be delivered
If we are unable to provide a booked service, the booking is cancelled at no charge and any amount paid is refunded in full. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
