1. Our services

Rao Travels offers tour packages (in India and abroad), flight, train and cruise ticket booking, and taxi services (both intercity and local). Service descriptions, sample itineraries and indicative prices on this website are for general information and do not constitute a binding offer. All bookings are subject to availability and written confirmation by us.

2. Enquiries, quotes & bookings

Prices shown are indicative and confirmed on enquiry. A booking is confirmed only once we issue a written confirmation and you have paid any advance or full amount we specify. You are responsible for ensuring that the names, dates, destinations and other details you provide are accurate.

3. Payments

Payments may be collected as an advance to confirm a booking, with the balance due as communicated for your booking. Online payments are processed through a secure third-party payment gateway; we do not store your card or banking credentials. Applicable taxes (including GST where relevant) are charged as per law.

4. Cancellations & refunds

Cancellations and refunds are handled case by case, depending on the service and supplier. Please contact us as early as possible to cancel or change a booking. Flight tickets and certain third-party bookings (such as hotels and activities) may be non-refundable or subject to the supplier's own charges.

5. Your responsibilities

• ✦Carry valid government-issued ID and any documents required for travel.
• ✦Be ready at the agreed pickup point and time; waiting beyond the agreed window may incur charges.
• ✦Conduct yourself responsibly; smoking, alcohol or any unlawful activity in our vehicles is not permitted.
• ✦Any damage caused to a vehicle due to misuse may be recovered from the traveller.

6. Third-party services

Where we book flights, hotels, monuments or activities operated by third parties, those bookings are also subject to the respective supplier's terms, schedules and conditions. We act in good faith as a facilitator and are not liable for delays, cancellations or service failures caused by airlines, hotels, weather, traffic or other parties beyond our reasonable control.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with any booking is limited to the amount paid by you to Rao Travels for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of personal belongings left in our vehicles.

8. Force majeure

We are not responsible for failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, road closures, accidents or severe weather. In such cases we will make reasonable efforts to assist and reschedule where possible.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Vellore, Tamil Nadu.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with its revision date.
